The Brown Family House, located at 370 Harvard Street in the heart of Coolidge Corner, is scheduled to open in summer of 2020.
2Life Communities partnered with Congregation Kehillath Israel (KI) to simultaneously address the issues of social isolation and housing affordability in Brookline through the creation of 62 affordable apartments for older adults, including vibrant common areas and approximately 1,000 square feet of community-oriented retail.
2Life appreciates the amazing local support we have received for the project. Throughout the development period, the Town of Brookline and neighbors have been terrific partners.
The development of the Brown Family House has been generously supported by: The Harold and Ronald Brown family, Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), Town of Brookline, WestMetro HOME Consortium, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), MassHousing, Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC), RBC Capital Markets, Citizens Bank, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Brookline Bank, and Irma M. Schretter.
