“Art is for people to share and enjoy.”—JCHE Brighton Resident and Artist Yong Xin Zhao. And so it was at the 2016 JCHE Gala and Auction celebrating “The Art of Community.”

Civic leaders and policymakers across Massachusetts committed to JCHE’s Aging in Community vision, joined JCHE staff, supporters, and residents to celebrate the naming of the Gitta & Saul Kurlat House (formerly Genesis House in Brighton), and to unveil a renovation process that will transform the building’s 209 apartments into truly modern quarters.
