We’re going to stress the urgency of restoring money for affordable housing,” said Amy Schectman, president of Brighton-based 2Life Communities, who will make the case to Massachusetts lawmakers. Schectman, whose nonprofit manages mostly low-income units in Brighton, Newton, and Framingham, said, “We have 1,179 people on our waiting list.”
